This guide will help you understand and utilize the search function on our website.

What can you search for?

Our search functionality allows you to find information based on specific criteria. You can search through various data points depending on the context of the search page.

Using the Search Bar

Search Term:

In the designated field, enter the keyword or phrase you want to find. Be specific for the most relevant results.

Search By:

Utilize the dropdown menu to select the column you want to search within. This helps narrow down the results based on the data point (e.g., Title, Description).

Example:

Let's say you're searching for Common Name Ginger.

• In the search term field, you enter "Ginger(non-case sensitive)".
• In the dropdown menu, you have options like "Common Name", "Botanical Name", or "Phytochemical Category". Choose "Common Name" to find items with "Ginger" in their fields.

Submitting Your Search

Once you've entered your search term and chosen the search column, click the "Search" button. The system will then display a list of results matching your criteria.
